With an aptitude for design, Imogene relishes any platform to exercise her conceptual and technical abilities. She possesses a keen interest in interrogating and challenging traditional notions of interior architecture through project work, establishing new paradigms for how people understand and interact with space.
With a breadth of international project experience across various industry sectors, Imogene contributes strong conceptual and collaborative skills with diverse materiality to her craft.
Focussing on a love of residential and hospitality work across a career working in Europe, the UAE and Australia, she brings over 15 years experience and a unique perspective on the ways in which we utilise space and experience our built environment.
An intuitive design communicator, Imogene carries a bold sense of resolve and design vision, committed to the creation and execution of exceptional design outcomes.
At a personal level, an instinct for and love of real estate, combined with a profession in interior design, has seen Imogene purchase, renovate and sell several inner city and coastal victorian properties.
The possibility of design moves Imogene, the importance of the spaces we live in motivates her.
KAT NITSOU
Guided by an instinctual connection to space, light, colour and texture. At a young age Kat learned the value that can come from interior transformation by being exposed to her family’s business of home renovations and development.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, she relocated to Los Angeles to embark on her profession. After completing two business degrees, Kat pursued a career in Real Estate and Interior Design at Sotheby’s International Realty, focussing on merging the two worlds to develop a skill in design, renovation management and the selling of property. This became a key point of difference in the highly saturated and competitive Los Angeles market where she could design, site management and style the houses she was selling or procuring for clients. In addition, Kat purchased and renovated personal residential projects.
Since moving to Melbourne, Kat has completed a degree in Interior Design and embarked on establishing Nitsou & Co now partnering with Studio Mo to forge a unique offering through decades of cultivated skills. Kat believes in the power of collaboration and through this can truly deliver on a bespoke offering.
Kat’s passion is simple. She loves beauty, the power of a curated space.
